John Por is currently the Head of Fitness Department at Habitude. He has been in the fitness industry for over a decade. He started off as a Street Latin dancer in 2006, founded SIM Salsa Club in 2007, and became a dance instructor after winning the Asia Bachata Championship in 2010. He has never looked back since then.

As he progressed in his coaching career, he discovered his passion for fitness. Hence, in 2011, he incorporated fitness into his portfolio as a Les Mills Bodycombat instructor, followed closely with Les Mills Sh’bam, Zumba and other freestyle programs such as HIIT, ABT and etc. He moved towards attaining more fitness certifications throughout his career which includes various Les Mills programs, TRX, IKFF (Kettlebell), Vipr and many more. He believes fitness is all inclusive and has honed his skillsets to cater to all walks of life and all level fitness intensity.
